Savannah

Tom and I celebrated our 5th anniversary this year with a quick trip to Savannah. It was awesome! When we first arrived we took a trolley tour so we could get an idea of what places we would want to go back and see. Blake loved it (until everyone on the trolley acted like a pirate, that moment ended with tears).

We learned this weekend that vacation with an infant is not really a vacation at all! We had early nights, early mornings, and we were subjected to his sleeping patterns throughout the day. But overall he was such a trooper and let us walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Savannah.

 We even saw Santa. Pretty sure this is as close as Blake will get to him this year!

 Picnic at the park, where all Blake wanted to do was eat grass! While we were here a random lady with ugly dogs came up to us and the dogs proceeded to lick Blake in the mouth while he was eating lunch....naturally I cringed inside.

 Of course Tom had to take a picture in Chippewa Square where Forest Gump sat on the bench. You can tell they definitely edited the scene!

 It was a perfect way to spend our anniversary! I love the new memories that are being made at this point in my life.
